Pursuant to Vermont's Public Documents Law, 1 VSA Section 315-320, please provide the following information:
Regarding Vermont Yankee:
A copy of the Confidentiality Agreement that you signed with Entergy with regard to documents Entergy turned over to your office in the winter of 2010, including a non-privileged investigative report by Morgan, Lewis and Bockius (regarding alleged lies by Entergy officials concerning underground pipes at Vermont Yankee) and underlying documents;
Copies of any emails or other forms of communication between your office, Entergy, the Morgan Lewis Bockius lawfirm, the Public Service Board and the Public Service Department about this report.
A copy of the public records request by the Conservation Law Foundation requesting release of the Morgan Lewis Report and any and all documents relating to your offce's rejection of that request;
Copies of requests by concerned citizens, including Sally Shaw, to investigate false statements made by Entergy VY regarding risks
to public safety following the tritium leaks discovered in January,
2010 and any replies your office made. (Shaw received none).
Regarding the Department of Health
Copies of any emails or communication with Dr. William Irwin, the Commissioner of Health, or other doctors or state health officials regarding cancer rates in Vermont; including any communication subsequent to your October 7th VPR debate to obtain a copy of a Department of Health document not released to the general public that shows a fourfold increase in thyroid cancer rates between 1994 an 2005.
Copies of any communication with Vermont Yankee officials, Oak Ridge Associates, Dr. William Irwin, and other members of the Vermont Department of Health from 2006 onward regarding the change in formula regarding radiation emission measurements, which was ultimately created by Oak Ridge Associates and accepted by your office, but not referred to the Legislative Committee on Administrative Rules.
Copies of any emails or other communications regarding your office posting a new advisory on Public Records requests on October 27, the same day Charlotte Dennett revealed to a reporter that she intended to file a public records request with Dr William Irwin concerning his testimony that week about being counseled by the Attorney General's office not to report to the Administrative Rules Committee regarding the new radiation formula;
Regarding transparency
A copy of your testimony before the Legislature urging it to include a "deliberative process" measure into the public records law, a measure that reportedly would have severely impeded the rights of citizens to use public records requests to find out what their government is doing
Any emails, letters or other forms of communication with regard to a $1,000 contribution by Du Pont Company made to your campaign and to Gov. Jim Douglass's campaign in October, 2008. (Attached)
Copies of your communications with Governor Jim Douglas or members of his administration with regard to the recent complaint against the Republican Governors Association and Brian Dubie.
